Student Association Strathclyde Teaching Excellence Awards 2011
The Student Association Strathclyde Teaching Excellence Awards took place on 18th May, 2011. These awards are a joint University and students’ initiative, developed to highlight excellent teaching as central to Strathclyde’s activities, and to foster a feeling of community and shared ownership between staff and students. They also allow students to celebrate those lecturers and staff that make their class, course and Strathclyde special to them.
We are delighted that three MDP lecturers were nominated for an award - Viktor Dorfler, Chris Moore and Jim Stevens. The nominations reflect very well on the MDP Programme and the manner in which we seek to enhance the student experience.

What the students said...
For Viktor Dorfler
He is very respectful of his students and he tries to encourage them to continuously seek new knowledge, not only within the very subject in question, but also across other disciplines.
For Chris Moore
By using personal stories of his experience, relating subjects to other parts of our lives and encouraging us to read case studies, he brings the subject to life.
